No doubt, parents plays an important role in their children’s life far outweigh any other person. And in most cases, parents act as the earliest teachers to kids and give them a lot of help. However, it is not certainly correct to say that parents are the best teachers.Sometimes, parents also have bad impact太严重了 on their children.
First of all, it seems to me that not all parents can be called teachers. The definition of a teacher should be a person who has a considerable amount of knowledge teaches. Only if a person achieves the standard, has he or she got the qualification to be regarded as a teacher. But in fact, it is impossible to have all parents in the world literate or well-educated. So there always will be a few of parents who are as blind as bats. As a result, these people are totally not good teachers to their children. Although other parents are able to meet the needs of children's curiosity during their childhood, more and more professional questions will be raised accompanying their growth. At that time, I believe most parents do not mean teachers to children any longer.
Moreover, despite of the educated-levels parents own, their manners and habits can influence children as well. These two aspects are other basic parts of being teachers. According to a theory of psychology, it is said that children will in some case learn the behavior of the people whom they live with. Therefore, parents establish themselves as models for their children. I think most parents gain qualified manners and habits. While yet few parents ignore it, leads to poor behavior of their children. Just imagine, a father whose mouth is filled up with "fuck, bitch..." （用dirty words代替，出现在考卷上就game over了）can make what kind of good behavior examples？（你用的不是how ...can 句型） to his child. Or a mother was as drunk as a sow affected her kid how negatively.
Lastly, assuming parents have no such problems as what mentioned above, the way how这里用了way 就不用how they teach children is another big question. Quite a few parents require their children getting excessively high goals which have already beyond their capability. For this reason, children resist their parents, and parents are supposed to know how to teach children more correctly instead of giving them too much pressure. One of the most famous stories telling the way of education is that about the President Washington. His father was angry at who had cut his favorite cherries. Washington admitted it bravely. Surprisingly, his father didn't punish him; however he awarded him for his honesty. The way Washington's father did have an more effective 建议用positive result than punishing Washington.
In conclusion, parents限定一个范围 are good teachers but not the best. They help their children enormous but not all. If parents want to be excellent teachers to children, they have to be literate in some fields, well-mannered in daily life and smart in the way to deal with their children. Thus, parents will be better teachers.
